Trip to France

Earlier this year, during Easter Break, Carondelet students embarked on an exhilarating journey of culture, language and history through Northern  France

Paris, beautiful as ever under exceptionally clement skies, enchanted our students with its Eiffel Tower by night and its Musée du Louvre treasures by day. After visiting the magnificent château de Versailles and its expansive gardens, we headed to La Cathédrale de Chartres and reached it just in time to be treated to organ music in celebration of Easter.

After visiting more opulent castles, we reached the legendary Mont. St. Michel and climbed atop to visit its monastery and admire the surrounding view. As the skies laden with dark clouds settled over us, we paid homage to our WWII D-Day fallen heroes at the American Cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach. We spent our last two days walking through beautiful Parisian neighborhoods enjoying the many sights, sounds and smells of this enchanted city.

If you are interested in potential future trips to France, please contact Ms. Nadine Amaerlo, Modern Language Dept. Chair.
STEM Trip to Switzerland and Germany 2020

Ms. Levesque and Mrs. Schooler are planning another STEM trip to Switzerland and Germany from April 2 - 10, 2020.

As the world becomes more connected, it is important to increase our global perspective and cultural awareness so we reflect a greater worldview to our students. The "Discovering STEM in Switzerland and Germany" program we chose begins in Lucerne and visits Freiburg, Munich, Zurich, Vauban and Salzburg.

To register for this trip  click here . A $200 deposit will lock in the price. Space is limited! If you have any questions or would like to hear what this year's participants thought of the trip please email Mrs. Schooler ( lschooler@carondeleths.org ).
