Recreation Master Plan Consultation
The Town of Paradise is working with UPLAND Planning and Design Studio to develop a new Recreation and Open Space Master Plan. To us, recreation includes participation in physical, social or creative pursuits that enhance personal and community well-being. The Recreation Master Plan will set a course of action for new or improved facilities, programs, parks, and trails, toward a long-term vision of meaningful, inclusive and accessible recreation opportunities for all citizens of Paradise.

One of the most important pieces to developing an effective and meaningful plan is your input. We want to know the role recreation and leisure in your life, what you enjoy and what improvements you would like to see!

Come share your thoughts on parks, trails, facilities and programs, as well as your aspirations for the future of recreation in Paradise at our drop-in session at the Paradise Double Ice Complex on Tuesday, June 26. The session will include interactive and fun activities where people can give input openly in an inclusive environment. Refreshments will also be provided. Visit Paradise.ca/RecPlan for updates on our Recreation Master Plan initiative.
NF Power Municipal Earth Day Contest
The Town is committed to protecting our environment and we know that saving paper is a great way to cut down on waste, conserve water, and save resources like trees. We are helping Newfoundland Power celebrate Earth Day 2018 by participating in an Earth Day Competition that benefits the environment.

You can sign up and enter yourself and the Town in the contest just by switching to paperless ebills with Newfoundland Power! From April 22 - June 22, the town that has the largest number (per capita) of residents sign up with ebills wins a prize pack worth $1000. Three individual participant prizes of Apple iPads will also be awarded.
