Dear Parents,

Please join me in extending best wishes to Mrs. Chris Oleski, our much loved third-grade teacher who will be retiring at the end of this school year.  She is looking forward to spending more time with her family and exploring new and exciting opportunities.

Mrs. Oleski has been a dedicated member of our faculty for over 25 years and will be missed by students and colleagues alike. Her kind and caring nature, as well as her spiritual guidance, has been a tremendous asset to our students.  We will keep Mrs. Oleski in our thoughts and prayers as she starts a new chapter in her life.

All are invited to attend the reception on June 10 th from
1 pm - 4 pm in the Family Center as we express our gratitude and appreciation for her years of devoted service to the St. Catherine School community.

Faithfully yours,

Miss Giaquinto

Confirmation

This Sunday, June 2 at 2:00 pm our Eighth Grade students will receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit through the Sacrament of Confirmation. The children will receive a special grace by which their faith is deepened and strengthened, so that they will be strong to face the challenges of young adulthood.  Through this sacrament, the children will be fully initiated into the Roman Catholic Church.

We ask that you say a prayer for our Eighth Graders that they always keep the gifts of the Holy Spirit in their hearts as they become moral decision makers and become closer to God.

Quote from Pope Francis:

"The Holy Spirit transforms and renews us, creates harmony and unity, and gives us courage and joy for mission."
