Downtown Parking Structure Community Meeting
The Menlo Park community is invited to share input on potential uses of a downtown parking structure. Uses may include, but are not limited to, retail, entertainment, housing, etc. City staff is currently in the process of researching potential development opportunities. Staff will compile community feedback for an upcoming presentation to City Council.

Community input is valued and welcomed as Menlo Park explores plans for downtown parking solutions.

Shredding and E-Waste Recycling Event
Free shredding and recycling of confidential files and unwanted electronics for Menlo Park residents on Saturday, April 7 from 9 am to 12 pm at the City Corporation Yard .

Residents will need to bring proof of   residency   such as a utility bill or driver's license with Menlo Park address and businesses will need to provide a Menlo Park business license or business card.

Electronics accepted for recycling include televisions, computer monitors, personal computers, DVD players, printers, scanners, radios, video game consoles and cellular phones.

Community Town Hall Meeting on Social Security
Congresswoman Anna G. Eshoo (D-CA) and Congressman John B. Larson (CT-01) will host a Community Town Hall Meeting on Social Security on Tuesday, April 3rd at 1:30 pm at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center .

The Representatives will present their plans to strengthen Social Security, including their legislation, the Social Security 2100 Act, which increases Social Security benefits, gives senior citizens a tax cut, and ensures the program is solvent for future generations, and will also answer questions about the legislation.

2018 Commuter Challenge
Join the 2018 Commuter Challenge ! This Spring, embrace change and discover new transportation modes other than driving alone in your vehicle.

From April 1st to May 31st, people who join the challenge and commute to, from or through San Mateo County using an alternative mode will be eligible to win weekly prizes and one of five grand prizes. Register here.
