ECC Citizen Surveys Enroute to Mailboxes Now
You are receiving this email a second time due to a CORRECTION made to the total dispatched calls for service in 2018. It was 173,322, not 76,082. A dispatched call for service is any call that results in a police, fire, or rescue unit responding to a call.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Charlottesville-UVa-Albemarle Emergency Communications Center (ECC) is conducting a citizen survey to gauge customer service and satisfaction. The survey will also help ECC determine how good of a job Public Safety Communications Officers (PSCOs) are doing.

This National survey is mailed out every three years to random citizens who have had contact with their respective ECC.

The Charlottesville-UVa-Albemarle ECC is in the process of sending out 500 surveys. That number is based on a percentage of the dispatched calls for service in 2018, which totaled 173,322. A dispatched call for service is any call that results in a police, fire, or rescue unit responding to a call.

These surveys are legitimate and extremely crucial in helping the ECC identify improvement areas. The participants remain anonymous and a report containing the findings will eventually be posted on the ECC website here for review and for follow up questions.

If you receive the survey, please complete and return the questionnaire by July 1, 2019. A pre-paid stamp is on the back of the survey for your mailing convenience.
