Age level: High school juniors and seniors & parents. This is a free event but registration is required.
Newport Beach Art Exhibition

Newport Beach Civic Center
Enjoy a festive afternoon of art, with music, kids art activities, food, wine and art demonstrations. Over 250 works of art, including painting, mixed media, sculpture and photography will be on display and available for purchase.

Concerts on the Green

Summer starts when the music begins! Bring dad for a fun Father's Day Concert on the Green with Orange County's hottest new band - The Side Deal. Made up of professional musicians from Train, Sugar Ray and Pawnshop Kings, this group will rock the park. Bring a picnic dinner or purchase food from food trucks on-site.

Summer Reading Programs
Beginning June 22 at all NBPL locations

Summer Reading is for everyone. Kids 0-6th grade can read, win prizes and attend weekly programs at the library. Check out the weekly fun events at each NBPL Branch and make sure to pick up your Summer Reading game sheet! There are also separate reading programs for Teens and Adults.

Newport Beach Public Library will kick off the 2019 Adult Summer Reading Program with a program featuring local author Kim Hooper introducing her new book, “Tiny.”

Sculpture Exhibition Opening
Saturday, June 22, 1-5 p.m.
Newport Beach Civic Center
Celebrate the addition of 10 new sculptures in Phase IV of the Sculpture Exhibition in the Civic Center Park.

The dedication and a special presentation will be held in Council Chambers at 1:30 p.m. with refreshments following. Artists will be on hand to talk about their artwork and visitors will be able to take a walking tour of the sculptures. Children are invited take part in an art activity during the festivities.
