Dear DPS Team Members,
Please read below for important updates on central office building and seating assignments.
As we shared last week, all seat and building assignment moves will begin the week of
June 17. The majority of team members will move seats.
You will receive a specific date to move, but please be packed and ready to move prior to 8 a.m. on Monday, June 17 or the last day of your work year, whichever occurs first. Please also support team members on leave or on vacation by ensuring their workstations -- and the workstations for vacant positions -- are packed and ready to move by that time.
Please note the following updates regarding building assignments:
- The Safety team will remain in its current two locations, Emily Griffith Campus (EGC) and NE Terminal.
- Denver Kids will relocate from EGC to Acoma.
Department seating assignments will be sent to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Individual seating assignments are at the discretion of SLT. With the exception of teams moving between buildings and team members who cannot carry their own boxes, individuals will be responsible for moving their belongings to their new workstations.
Moving boxes will be provided for the purpose of moving DPS property only. Boxes will be delivered to most departments by
June 7. Each team member is responsible for moving their own personal property. Please take home personal items during this transition and bring them back after you are settled at your new workstation.
For those whose work year ends before June 7, please have your department coordinator email
Sharmane Reggans to arrange for box delivery as soon as possible.
