Kids Cooking Class at CMH 

CMH will host free summer cooking classes for students entering fourth and fifth grades. The classes will be held June 8, July 13 and August 3 in the CMH Community Rooms, 1500 N. Oakland, Bolivar. All classes are 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Each class will feature different topics and are taught by CMH Registered Dietitians Rhonda Orrell, Jackie Kemnic, Lindsay Sparks and Mary Sebade with the University of Missouri Extension. The classes focus on healthier eating habits and participants receive nutrition information and tips, samples of food prepared, recipe packets with nutrition analysis and more.

Topics this summer include: fruits in June; vegetables in July and grains in August. Each student must attend with an adult 18 and older. Class size is limited and registration is required. Please let us know if you have food allergies.
