Greetings!

We have some upcoming opportunities at FMC that need our youth!

Youth helpers are still needed for this year's Vacation Bible School (Monday, June 18 - Friday, June 22 from 9:00 a.m. to noon). If your youth can help, please sign up here.

On Monday, June 18 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., we have a youth service project planned. After VBS, we will serve a light lunch and then help our United Methodist Women group with a project. Sign up here to help.

Finally, all VBS youth helpers are invited on Friday, June 22 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to stay for lunch. Afterwards, we will have some fun water games to celebrate the great work they did at VBS!  Be sure to bring a towel and a change of clothes.

Blessings,

Ruth Ann Person

Join our Identification Ministry

Imagine what it would be like to not have your state driver's license or photo identification.  You would not be able to get a job, cash checks, receive packages or certified mail, drive or countless other things that we tend to take for granted.

For those who face homelessness or sudden, drastic changes in their lives, this is their reality. Trying to get a new I.D. is filled with complications and challenges that folks going through a crisis simply don't have the energy or focus to work through.

Our church has two teams of wonderful individuals who help people navigate the difficult journey of getting identification. We are looking for a few more folks to join in this most important ministry. Countless people have had their lives changed through our members sharing a few hours of their week with them.

If you would like more information, please contact Jim Melton at 281-384-2353 or Sheldon Hodgson at 936-203-0839.

Most positions will need people to serve one month per quarter, which works out to 12 times per year.
