In the Doghouse

     Over $20,000 RAISED!
T en of our community leaders raised money for their "impound fees" last month and had a lot of fun doing it! Johnny Rhodes from 97.3 The Rock hosted a concert at Jumper's Sports Bar featuring Six Shots 'Til Midnight and from Hirschbach, Paul Ruiz's wife baked a WHOLE LOT of cookies to help him get out of the doghouse!

Other company leaders who helped raise funds for our animals include:
Fig Leaf - Rylynn McQuillen
American Trust - Mary Beth Grimm
Health Check 360 - Michael Kelly
TH Media - Bob Woodward
TAG - Kathleen Herber
Bird Chevrolet - Sales Team
Joseph Mulgrew Builders - Joe Mulgrew

Thank you to all who generously donated and to our company leaders for their time and  creativity in raising $20,285.46 for the animals we care for.

If you would like to nominate someone to be "In the Doghouse"
next year,  please email me!

STRUT YOUR MUTT - 25th Anniversary - June 2nd

Please join us at Strut Your Mutt on Saturday, June 2, 2018 as we celebrate 25 years of promoting awareness, creating memories, and raising funds.  Strut Your Mutt is one of the only dog friendly walks in the tri-state area; however, you do not need to bring a mutt to strut with us in Murphy Park!

Pet related business will be handing out samples, doing demonstrations, and getting to know the pet owners in our community.  There will be an agility course and a radar run for the animals!  Come have some fun with the DRHS!

Spring Cleaning

Spring cleaning is a time-honored tradition in many households, but be sure to keep all cleaners and chemicals out of your pets' way! Almost all cleaning products, even all natural ones, contain chemicals that may be harmful to pets. The key to using them safely is to read and follow label directions for proper use and storage.
