It is difficult to say when I first heard the term "Active Shooter". One day it was just a part of my vocabulary. As these incidents continue to occur, we're seeing more disaster preparedness taking place; from Universities holding Active Shooter Trainings to prepare faculty and staff, to emergency service personnel devising plans for action.

mentions this standard isn't just for fire services. From policymakers, to emergency services, to the public; all stakeholders should be working together. And Codepal wants to lend a hand. It is difficult to say what will be the result of the NFPA 3000 standard, but we're watching for its release, so we can assist in any way possible. However, we already have some ways you can use the software.
