Last evening's Fine Arts Night was the highlight of the week... in addition to the Scholastic Book Fair and the down pouring of hail during recess on Thursday! Clearly, the excitement is increasing due to the sheer number of events and happenings taking place on a daily basis!
Fine Arts Night 2019 was exceptional! The work created by "Mrs. Angeley's Artists" was second to none, using various methods and mediums to create beautiful art! The addition of the 3-D artwork in the middle school was interesting and well done! Thanks so much, Mrs. Angeley for helping all artists to SHINE this year!
Mr. Borges and Mr. Couto collaborated to direct the Kindergarten through Grade 2 chorus, as well as the Grades 3 through 5 chorus. The song selection was perfectly complimentary to our students’ personalities and natural energy!
The Upper School Chorus sounded like a professional group, thanks to Miss Cournoyer, Mrs. Gomes and Mr. Alec Gomes.
Finally, Miss Bonnie’s string students also entertained the crowd and demonstrated their progress with their instruments. Thank you all who attended this year’s Fine Arts Night… more photos from the wonderful evening will be uploaded to our website soon!
There are numerous field trips in many of our students’ futures, so please pay very close attention to those details as posted and communicated through your child’s teacher. The finish line is in sight, yet we have miles to go before we rest! Please join us in conveying the message to your children that it is not quite over yet! Finishing strong takes steady effort…and self control!
As many parents know after last year's FUN RUN, much help is needed the day of the event! Students will be wearing large stickers on their backs that need to be marked for every lap they complete! Can you help us ? The Fun Run is set to take place on Friday, June 7th from 8:30am - 11:00am. Thank you to the 5 parents that have responded to our plea, but we could really use 5 more to help with marking laps! Please click here to give your "YES"! Thanks so much!
Last Box Tops Collection for this school year...Miss Cordeiro's class has the early lead!!
Send in any tops you've been saving...either place in clearly labeled baggies of 50 each and we can affix them to the collection sheets...or affix them and send in the sheets. Every top helps our school!
