Holiday Observance Schedule
In observance of Memorial Day, City Hall will be closed Monday, May 27, 2019. The refuse, recycling and yard waste schedule will be one day late all week. The City of Rock Island wishes everyone a very happy and safe Memorial Day weekend!
Laura's Legacy-ALS Benefit Concert
Laura’s Legacy and the Parks and Recreation Department is returning for its 8th annual event to Schwiebert Riverfront Park in downtown Rock Island on June 8, 2019. Attendees of all ages can enjoy live music from Lissie and 2 other artists. Come out and support a great cause with food and family fun right on the Mississippi River. Gates open at 3:00 pm and tickets are $10.00 – cash only and free for children under the age of 12 with a paid adult.
