Garden Club & Library Present Miniature Gardening Expert
The Poulsbo Garden Club, in partnership with the Poulsbo Library, would like to invite everyone to
meet Janit Calvo, a world-renowned expert  and
enthusiast of miniature gardening and the author
of  two best-selling gardening books on the hobby.
 
Everyone is invited to this free event on
Saturday, May 12 at the Poulsbo Library.
 
The Garden Club meeting will start at 9:00 a.m. with a
meet, greet and eat in the Poulsbo Library and will be followed at 9:30 a.m. with a short business meeting.
 
At 10:30 a.m. Janit will speak, spreading the joy of gardening in miniature. She is the founder of the Miniature Garden Society, a world-wide group of miniature garden enthusiasts. Janit has won
numerous awards, written many articles in
magazines around the world, and authored
the best-selling "Gardening in Miniature" and
new  "Gardening in Miniature Prop Shop."
 
A book signing will follow her speech,
and signed books and  miniature
plants  and accessories will
be  available  for  purchase.

VISION 2050 PSRC Survey
The Puget Sound Regional  Council
wants to hear from you!
  
PSRC is conducting a survey  on issues and experiences  in the central Puget Sound.
  
The survey should take about  10 minutes
to complete, and  responses are anonymous.
  
PSRC is seeking community input  to shape
VISION 2050 , the region's  growth strategy
to keep the  central Puget Sound region
healthy and vibrant as it grows.
