PM Modi has become the most popular world leader on Facebook, with more than 43.2 million likes on the social media network. This figure puts him far ahead of other world leaders, according to a study, which also notes that the five most-liked Facebook pictures of 2017 were posted by PM Modi.

Online auction site eBay plans to relaunch operations in India after selling a minority stake in Flipkart Internet as eBay strives to stay relevant in the south Asian nation's fast-growing e-commerce market. The company said it will relaunch eBay India with "a differentiated offer to focus initially on the cross-border trade opportunity."

Indian-American ex-Amazon Engineer Launches Indian Food Delivery Startup
 

Former Amazon engineer Mitra Raman launched The Buttermilk Co., a Seattle-based meal delivery kit startup that charges $6 for meals such as the vegetable wheat porridge dish, Khichdi, and the lentil dish, Daal. She called the company Buttermilk because she always adds the ingredient to her rasam, and because the creamy liquid is traditionally eaten after a spicy Indian meal to cool one's palate.

Indian authorities have given a green light to the use of data and voice services on flights over the country's airspace. Internet connectivity will be available above 9,800 feet and the service should be available in a matter of months.
