We had a great time last Saturday and want to thank everyone in the community who came out!

We introduced all sorts of kids to the concept of an old fashioned cake walk thanks to donations from Plowman's Kitchen and Simply Sweet. The treats from these two great businesses made for so much fun!

Our exhibitors were so much fun and we appreciate all of them including Ace Dental, Modern Woodsman, Ancira Salsa/Work Here, Boys and Girls Club, the Dwayne Ariola Campaign, Green Man Therapeutic Massage, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Moody Museum, Moose's Brake and Tune Up, Nichole Gray Lash Studio, St. Mary's Catholic School, St. Paul Lutheran Church and Child Development Center, Taylor Arts Board, Taylor Fire Department, Taylor Police Department, Texas Beer Company, Texas State Technical College, Taylor Education Enrichment Foundation, Vasayo and WellMed.

Finally, we want to thank our downtown business partners Hawt Spot Salon and Boutique and Friends of the Bride.

PROPOSITION A Shall Article 4, Section 4.1 of the Taylor City Charter be amended to require that Council members be elected by a majority vote.

PROPOSITION B Shall Article 4, Section 4.2 of the Taylor City Charter be amended to state that a conflict of interest between a Council Member and the City Council shall be defined by Chapter 171 Texas Local Government Code as written or subsequently amended and upon compliance with Chapter 171 the conflict of interest shall be deemed properly disclosed.

PROPOSITION C Shall Article 9, Section 9.1 of the Taylor City Charter be amended to allow the City Manager to hire and remove employees of the City.

This year's Good Life (UN)Fair & 5K is virtual and all local and area runners are encouraged to participate.

The run is still raising money for a percussion park that will be set in Murphy Park. The group has a fun video that you can watch by clicking I WANT TO WATCH THE VIDEO.
