Hello Old Donation!
As you all know, Good Shepherd Sunday was a few days ago, and we had some excellent worship with a beautiful lamb who was kind enough to let us pet her and pose with her for photos. It was also Day School Sunday, and we had a number of our Day School families with us to celebrate. Our Day School is one of the biggest ministries of this parish, and I have to be careful not to take for granted the presence of children on campus nine months out of the year. For those of you who gave a little extra on Sunday to the Julia Tucker Scholarship Fund, which helps families who otherwise could not afford to attend our school, thank you. Thank you for your generosity, and support. For those of you who may have missed the opportunity on Sunday, donations can be made year round to the Scholarship Fund! It's never too late to give.
Tonight there will be NO Wednesday night program! We have concluded programming for this year, so stay tuned for a summer session in the near future.
On Sunday, there will be NO class during Formation Hour. Instead, meet at 9:15 in the Parish Hall so that we can thank and honor our amazing teachers for this past year. Anyone who's taught or shepherded "students" of any age has been vital to our parish, and we want to thank you! After a brief recognition, we'll head outside for brunch, fellowship, and fun provided by the Christian Formation Commission and Adult Formation Team. We're also actively looking for more individuals to join the Christian Formation Commission, so if you're interested, or curious to find out more, let me know!
Bob will be preaching at 8:00, 10:30, and 5:00 in the Church, and I'll be in the Gathering. We'll have a Newcomer's Dinner in the evening, so say a prayer of thanks for all those who have joined our parish in the recent months/years!
In Christ,
