UPROOTED
featuring Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root
Please join us for the 2018 featured Cherry Creek Arts Festival band UPROOTED !

It was 29 years ago that Michael Glabicki left college to start a band. At that time he had no idea what he was going to do. He spent two years creating his vision and learning the craft of songwriting. That vision soon became Rusted Root , the multiplatinum band out of Pittsburgh, and Michael became one of the world’s most unique voices.

In many ways he is starting this process again by creating an entirely new sound landscape! This process has led to Glabicki’s new solo project, Uprooted -- now coming to the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Janus Henderson Investors Main Stage, 8:00pm, doors open at 7:00pm.

Tickets On Sale Soon! RSVP HERE to get latest news!
Cherry Creek Arts Festival will be hosting the 18th year of the Student Art Buying Program sponsored by Janus Henderson Investors. During this
event, students from 24 selected schools will purchase works of art from exhibiting artists to then be permanently displayed at their schools!

Featured Artist Spotlight
Patricia DeLeon-Alfonso
Painting - Greenville, SC
Patricia DeLeon-Alfonso, born in Venezuela, is a painter whose work references memory and spirituality. Working intuitively with pure pigments, molten beeswax, graphite, and marble dust, DeLeon fuses the acts of painting and drawing into layered surfaces suggesting a sense of illuminated space. With lyrical scrawls, gouges, deep scratches and repetitive mark making, her work references the visceral dynamics of universal experience.

DeLeon is widely collected in the US, Canada and Latin America. She lives and works in Greenville, SC. Visit her website or on-site at this year's CCAF to see more of her amazing talent!
