The Letchworth Red, White & Blue Balloon Rally will be holding the 19th annual festival May 24 through 27th, 2019. Twenty-five balloons from several states will splash the Letchworth gorge with color. This is a non commercial event where pilots attend simply to enjoy flying among the beauty of the "Grand Canyon of the East".

Starts at 10 AM on Commercial Street and will end at the Livonia Public Library where there will be a short ceremony.

THE 2019 APOG ARCHITECTURAL SCAVENGER HUNT

This summer APOG (Association for the Preservation of Geneseo) has put together an Architectural Scavenger Hunt, “The Doors of Geneseo,” for anyone interested in the details of the classic homes of the Historic District of Geneseo. Copies of the FREE booklet of photos of the architectural elements are available at Sundance Books, Touch of Grayce, Florence’s Perpetual Estate Sale, and the Wadsworth Public Library.
All of the doors are clearly visible from the public sidewalk. All houses are within the Historic District, South Street to North Street, Main Street to Highland Road. Deadline is September 19, 2019. The grand prize is $250. The winning entry will be announced at the September 21 APOG Wing Fest. Stroll the Village streets, enjoy the summer weather, and test your powers of observation.

Mount Morris is celebrating it’s 8th Annual Festival on Saturday June 8th! Vendors and Sidewalk sales start at 11 AM in Downtown Mount Morris with the Francis Bellamy Memorial Parade at 6 PM, Family Fun night at Bellamy Park and Fireworks at 9:30 PM! The celebrations this year will be like no other, the community will be celebrating it’s 225th Birthday with enthusiasm and historic reverence. A dedication of a new Mural downtown will be held at 11 AM on Main Street & Chapel. The streets will be lined with balloons, bring your chairs for the Frances Bellamy Memorial Parade, and make sure to visit the animals at the petting zoo!
