This is Me
by Chrissy Metz
A lot of us, myself included, did not grow up with positive reinforcement. We were not told we could be or do anything we wanted, even if our wish was just to be happy. Whatever you've brought with you to this book, you can't allow those experiences, even traumas, to define you or limit you. And maybe you are afraid that if you say what you want, someone will hear you. You fear the judgment of a loved one, or worry that your growth might be a threat to that person. But right now, let's just talk amongst ourselves. You and me. I know I am still unlearning everything I was taught as a kid. When I was down, people told me that was where I would stay. But when you are so far down, the only way to go is up. So think about what you really want your life to be. Say it out loud, ask for it. When we meet, I want to hear all about it.
Macbeth
by Jo Nesbo
Up next in the Hogarth Shakespeare series: international crime fiction phenomenon Nesbo reenvisioning the icy-dark Macbeth. In a rundown industrial town in the 1970s, drug dealer Hekate, her product overseen by a crew of weird sisters, tells Inspector Macbeth that one day he'll replace upright chief of police Duncan. Macbeth's lover, a casino owner named Lady, knows exactly what must happen to Duncan and his loyal assistant chief, Malcolm, to make that prediction come true.
Noir: a Novel
by Christopher Moore
The absurdly outrageous, sarcastically satiric, and always entertaining New York Times bestselling author Christopher Moore returns in finest madcap form with this zany noir set on the mean streets of post-World War II San Francisco, and featuring a diverse cast of characters.
by Lisa Jewell
Ten years after her beloved 15-year-old daughter Ellie disappeared, Laurel is charmed when she meets Floyd at a café, surprised when her feelings for him grow deeper, and absolutely shocked to meet Floyd's daughter, who looks exactly like Ellie. From the New York Times best-selling author of I Found You.
A Higher Loyalty
by James Comey
On November 11, President Donald Trump called former FBI director James Comey a political hack "proven now to be a liar." Comey responded by quoting from an 1855 sermon by the Rev. Charles Haddon Spurgeon: "If you want truth to go round the world you must hire an express train to pull it; but if you want a lie to go round the world, it will fly." Perhaps this memoir's title is another possible response.
The Female Persuasion
by Meg Wolitzer
Greer Kadetsky is a shy college freshman when she meets the woman she hopes will change her life. Faith Frank, dazzlingly persuasive and elegant at sixty-three, has been a central pillar of the women's movement for decades, a figure who inspires others to influence the world. Upon hearing Faith speak for the first time, Greer, madly in love with her boyfriend, Cory, but still full of longing for an ambition that she can't quite place, feels her inner world light up. An invitation to make something out of that sense of purpose, leads Greer down the most exciting path of her life as it winds toward and away from her meant-to-be love story with Cory and the future she'd always imagined.
The Fallen
by David Baldacci
Amos Decker is the Memory Man. Following a football-related head injury that altered his personality, Decker is now unable to forget even the smallest detail. And in New York Times bestselling author David Baldacci's gripping new thriller, Decker's life might be about to change again. Something sinister is going on in Baronville. The rust belt town has seen four bizarre murders in the space of two weeks. Cryptic clues left at the scenes: obscure bible verses, odd symbols--have the police stumped. Decker, with his singular talents, may be the only one who can crack this bizarre case. Only this time, when one mistake could cost him everything, Decker finds that his previously infallible memory may not be so trustworthy after all...
Varina
by Charles Frazier
In his powerful new novel, Charles Frazier returns to the time and place of Cold Mountain, vividly bringing to life the chaos and devastation of the Civil War. Her marriage prospects limited, teenage Varina Howell agrees to wed the much-older widower Jefferson Davis, with whom she expects the secure life of a Mississippi landowner. Davis instead pursues a career in politics and is eventually appointed president of the Confederacy, placing Varina at the white-hot center of one of the darkest moments in American history--culpable regardless of her intentions. The Confederacy falling, her marriage in tatters, and the country divided, Varina and her children escape Richmond and travel south on their own, now fugitives with "bounties on their heads, an entire nation in pursuit."
Tiger Woods
by Jeff Benedict
Based on three years of extensive research and reporting, two of today's most acclaimed investigative journalists, Jeff Benedict of Sports Illustrated and eleven-time Emmy Award winner Armen Keteyian, deliver the first major biography of Tiger Woods--sweeping in scope and packed with groundbreaking, behind-the-scenes details of the Shakespearean rise and epic fall of an American icon.
Whiskey & Ribbons
Evi, a classically-trained ballerina, was nine months pregnant when her husband Eamon was killed in the line of duty on a steamy morning in July. Now it is winter, and Eamon's adopted brother Dalton has moved in to help her raise six-month-old Noah.

by Madeline Miller
Follows Circe, the banished witch daughter of Helios, as she hones her powers and interacts with famous mythological beings before a conflict with one of the most vengeful Olympians forces her to choose between the worlds of the gods and mortals.
Shoot First
by Stuart Woods
The irresistible Stone Barrington returns for another racy adventure from New York Times-bestselling author Stuart Woods. Stone Barrington has faced intrigue before and come out clean on the other side, but this latest turn of events might be too scandalous even for him.
After Anna
by Lisa Scottoline

But their lives are turned upside down when Maggie's daughter Anna moves in with them. Anna is a gorgeous seventeen-year-old who balks at living under their rules. Events take a deadly turn when Anna is murdered and Noah is accused of the crime. New information sends Maggie searching for the truth, leading her to discover something darker than she could have ever imagined.

Unified: How Our Unlikely Friendship Gives Us Hope for a Divided Country
by Tim Scott and Trey Gowdy
In a divided country desperate for unity, two sons of South Carolina show how different races, life experiences, and pathways can lead to a deep friendship-even in a state that was rocked to its core by the 2015 Charleston church shooting. Tim Scott, an African-American US senator, and Trey Gowdy, a white US congressman, won't allow racial lines to divide them. They work together, eat meals together, campaign together, and make decisions together. Yet in the fall of 2010-as two brand-new members of the US House of Representatives-they did not even know each other. Their story as politicians and friends began the moment they met and is a model for others seeking true reconciliation.
