At CFX, we know you have options when it comes to choosing a toll pass, and we want to thank you for being an E-PASS customer.

The Orlando Sentinel recently compared the differences between E-PASS and SunPass, including price, customer service and unique offerings. Click below to read the article, and see how E-PASS stacks up.

Here in the nation's #1 travel destination, providing the best in hospitality comes naturally. So when complaints mounted from tourists being charged astronomical service fees for rental car toll programs, CFX and other community leaders took notice. Concerned that hefty fees were diminishing the "Orlando experience" for visitors, CFX created Visitor Toll Pass, the smart alternative to costly rental car toll payment programs.

Visitor Toll Pass is a free hangtag that drivers place on the rearview mirror of any rental vehicle to pay tolls electronically at the lowest toll rate, without incurring additional fees charged by rental car toll payment programs. The first program of its kind in the U.S., Visitor Toll Pass works on all toll roads throughout Florida.

Visitors traveling through Orlando International Airport and renting a car during the three-month pilot phase (May 1–July 31, 2019) can reserve a Visitor Toll Pass online, or pick one up from the airport counter located in Terminals A and B.
CFX and the Lake County Tax Collector’s Office launched a joint effort on April 29 to simplify the process for removing vehicle tag/registration holds related to unpaid toll notices. Lake County vehicle owners can now pay delinquent Pay By Plate invoices in real time and immediately clear a vehicle registration hold while renewing tags at any of the Lake County Tax Collector’s three Regional Service Centers. Continuing its customer-first commitment, CFX expanded the initiative to Lake County following success with the tax collector’s offices in Orange and Seminole Counties.

CAN YOU PASS THE CRASH TEST?
Hopefully, you’ll never be in a car crash, but if you are, do you know what to do ? WFTV reporter Racquel Asa rides along with CFX Road Ranger Anick, and speaks to Florida’s Highway Patrol Lt. Kim Montes to learn just what to do when a crash happens. Both explain the safest actions, what the law requires, and what to do if you find yourself in a crash in a construction zone. PROJECT UPDATES
Several CFX construction projects in east Orange County are close to reaching new milestones. As part of the SR 417/SR 408 interchange project , two new ramps connecting eastbound and westbound SR 408 to southbound SR 417 are expected to open in July.

Work continues on the SR 408 widening project between SR 417 and Alafaya Trail, and a new exit ramp from westbound SR 408 to Rouse Road is expected to open in June. (An entrance ramp from Rouse Road to westbound SR 408 has already opened).

Also, drivers along SR 417 will notice sound walls going up as part of the SR 417 widening project between Econlockhatchee Trail and the Orange/Seminole County line. The project is scheduled for completion in fall 2020.

A new, temporary configuration of the eastbound I-4 exit ramps to State Road SR 408 (Exit 82A) and South Street (Exit 82B) will open as soon as the morning of Sunday, May 19.

This temporary ramp configuration requires drivers exiting eastbound I-4 to be in the left lane for South Street and the right lane for S.R. 408.
