Sunday Breakfast
Breakfast this Sunday, February 23, will be provided by guest chefs, Nelson & Janice Toebbe.
   
Due to unplanned circumstances, there has been a change in the class schedule.  Dave will begin teaching a class on 'Stations of the Cross' for the next couple of weeks. 
 
The  "Celtic Christianity" discussion will begin on March 8th.  The Celtic Christianity discussion will be on the history, development, and spirituality of Celtic Christianity led by Dave Kirchinger.  
 
Please plan on joining everyone in Board Hall between 8:30am and 9:45 where you will not only enjoy great food but a time for fellowship.  
   
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper 
Our community celebration of Shrove Tuesday will take place in Board Hall on February 25th at 6 pm!

Ticket Sales will begin at all services this weekend, and will continue through February 23rd.

Tickets are $5 per person or $15 per family of 4 or more, and proceeds benefit the mission and activities of our St. Luke's Youth and Young Adult ministries.

Your ticket is your RSVP, which will allow us to prepare an appropriate amount of food, so please purchase ahead of time!

We look forward to this time of fun, fellowship, festive music, and food!

Visitors & New Members 
All visitors and new members are invited to a casual dinner at the home of Celia and Brian Manlove at 6 PM on Sunday evening March 8.

The address is 2709 Anchor Way in Anchorage. If you were not able to attend the last dinner in September, please come in March.

St. Luke's Book Club 
YOU ARE INVITED to St Luke's Book Club on March 17 at 7:00. We will be discussing a book drawn on new documents and genealogical research by Kate Clifford Larson, Bound for the Promised Land, Harriett Tubman, Portrait of an American Hero. Larson gives Tubman the powerful, intimate, meticulously detailed biography she deserves.
 
NEXT MEETING INFO: Lyman House, March 17, THIRD (3rd) Wednesday monthly at 7:00 PM for 2+- hours of rousing conversations and introductions to books of almost every genre. At the end of each meeting, we discuss books for the next month's selection, so bring your suggestions with you.

Calling all church males over the age of 16 .
The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is sponsoring a special deep dive into male spirituality in a small group format. 
 
We recognize that men are searching for their spiritual journey. Bridging the gap for several generations is equally challenging. Moving forward requires a role-model. We want to use Jesus Christ, who took 12 young men to train to spread the Gospel. Two thousand years later there are 2.1 Billion followers.
 
The orientation program will be held March 7 with a breakfast at 8:30 am in Board Hall. RSVP can be made to Dawn, St. Luke's church office, 502-245-8827. Deadline to RSVP is Thursday, March 5th.
 
Questionnaires can be mailed to St. Luke's, Attn: Keith Buckingham, 1206 Maple Lane, Anchorage, KY 40223. The questionnaire is also available online: www.BrothersAndrew.net ; Library drop down. These questionnaires will tell us the preferred meeting day and frequency. There are six segments. After the meeting we will announce workshop perimeters.
 
The cost is minimal: $25.00 for registration; the book Lead Like Jesus Revisited; and workbook. Instructors are pro bona. These sessions are open to any male. Friends and family outside St. Luke's are welcomed, too.  
 
We believe this opportunity could open new horizons for everyone, their family, our parish, and community. Come join us on March 7 in Board Hall!

Cardinal Brass 
Cardinal Brass will be bringing an exciting program of dynamic and engaging music from around the world.

You won't want to miss this concert, Monday, March 16, 7:30pm at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, now with the full band!

Admission is Free!

Centering Prayer 
Please join us for Centering Prayer on February 25, at 6pm at the Lyman House (church office) conference room.  
 
We meet every fourth Tuesday of the month.
