Advanced Archery Qualifies for Nationals!

After a successful trip to Nationals in Salt Lake City in April, our middle school Advanced Archery team has qualified for Worlds! The NASP World competition will be held in Nashville, TN from 7/25-7/27. Congratulations goes out to Coach George Portillo and all of our Archers! 
CarLife Charger of the Week:
Thank you to Jeff Breid and our neighbors CarLife for supporting our Charger of the Week program this year! Each week Jeff, or one of his employees, comes over to meet with our COTW and present them their t-shirt. We have made many community connections through this partnership and greatly appreciate the support! Stay tuned for our Chargers of the Year announcement, which will take place next Friday at all school awards.

Visit East Valley Sports to Order Your Varsity Jacket!
You may now visit East Valley Sports (6306 East Main Street, Mesa, 85205) to inquire about ordering an Arete Prep Varsity Jacket. We have redesigned the Varsity Letter that was distributed at Fall Sports Awards. IF YOU ARE ORDERING A JACKET, please contact Coach Conklin to receive the new letter. Please keep in mind that jackets take 7-8 weeks for production. We are very excited to see school pride represented in Varsity Jackets around campus! Jackets are dress code approved but may only be worn by the owner.

REGISTRATION FOR A SPORT


1. Complete the Athletic Online Enrollment. (Must be completed by a parent/guardian.) 

2. Every athlete must submit a physical on the approved AIA Physical Forms. Physicals are good for 12 months and must be resubmitted annually. 

3. Submit the athletic fee. All middle school sports (including archery) are $250. All high school sports are $290. Select Online Payment to pay by debit/credit card online, or you may submit cash, check, or money to the front office. 

4. (HS ONLY) If not previously completed, every high school athlete must complete the Brainbook Concussion Course. The AIA will notify Arete electronically once the student has successfully completed the course. High school athletes are required to complete this course only once during their high school career. 

All items must be completed and turned in before your student may participate in their sport.
