Both the June and November ballots will include several initiatives with the potential to severely impact California cities. One of the ways people can support the League's efforts at the ballot box is through CitiPAC.
This year in the area of TCPW there are a number of positive bills for cities that acknowledge the ways in which local government serves residents.  
The League is advocating for funding in the budget for cities to address homelessness, disaster preparedness activities, waste diversion and the Transformative Climate Communities grant program.

The League of California Cities ® is now accepting submissions for the 2019 Public Works Officers Institute & Expo, being held April 3–5 at the Paradise Point Hotel in San Diego.
Opportunities for Cities

Some of the most significant benefits of League membership for cities since 1988 have flowed from the League’s co-sponsorship of the California Statewide Communities Development Authority (CSCDA).

This free event will be an opportunity for public agencies to learn how to save time and money through the U.S. Communities program.
