Award News
Tampa Bay Lightning Community Hero
The Pasco Education Foundation was honored as a local community hero by the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Community Heroes Program, presented by Jabil. This $20,000 donation will provide classroom grants and school supplies to ensure teachers and their students are prepared in their classrooms.

Community Foundation of Tampa Bay
Thanks to a private funder through the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay, the Pasco Education Foundation was awarded $10,000 to address the social-emotional and mental health needs of students and staff in Pasco County Schools. Given the additional stressors of this unprecedented year, we know these funds will be of great use to our schools.
EMC on the Road
One of the Foundation's projects this year is enhancing support of the Pasco Energy and Marine Center. With COVID-19 presenting challenges in sending students to the EMC, the team at the EMC is packing up and bringing science on the road to our schools. Watch the video to see what a great job they are doing!

Florida Prepaid College Plans
As the pandemic spurs many families to reevaluate their finances and save more when possible, the Florida Prepaid College Board and Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis are encouraging Floridians to factor in the importance and value of saving early for college. By saving a little each month early on, families can prepare financially for college in a way that is affordable and guaranteed.

The $50 application fee is being waived until October 31 with the promo code DREAMBIG20.
