Specifically, Krug will discuss the implementation of the Go Plan, which encourages more biking and walking transportation options.

Don't forget to enter your name in our drawing for a chance to win a gift card to a member business!

Important Changes to our Membership Luncheons
Beginning in June, we will no longer be hosting a monthly membership luncheon. In an effort to respect your time constraints and to provide top-quality programming, we have made the decision to move our membership meetings to a quarterly luncheon format. This week's meeting will be held at the typical time and place (see above). The next luncheon date will be:

Thursday, October 4
11:45 am - 1:00 pm
Collinsville Library

Collinsville 1950s Historic Walking Tour - Round Two!

Back by popular demand, the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce is planning a second historic walking tour of downtown Collinsville for Thursday, May 17. The tour will begin at 6:00 pm inside Herron's Crown Opry Theater at 1015 W Main Street.

Tour attendees will be given a glimpse at life in Collinsville in the 1950s, when Collinsville was the hub of excitement for surrounding towns. The event will begin with a slideshow of photos/videos and short introduction to Collinsville history, then groups will head out to walk the streets of downtown Collinsville. Guests will be treated to fun and interesting stories of the people and businesses that shaped our town. The evening will conclude with refreshments inside the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce office at 1126 W Main Street.

Admission price is only $10 per person. There will be a limit of 25 people per tour group. Be sure to contact the office today to reserve your spot, as spaces are expected to sell quickly! Our last event sold out -- don't miss your chance!

For more information, please contact Megan Edwards at [email protected] or 918.371.4703.

If your membership has lapsed, this is the perfect time to renew to ensure that you will be included! For more information, call the office at 918-371-4703.
