ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING
FOR 2018-2020 COUNTY REPUBLICAN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
RESCEDULED FOR JUNE 26TH AT 7:30 pm
The Organizational Meeting for the 2018-2020 Montgomery County Republican Executive Committee (CEC) will convene at 7:30 pm, Tuesday evening, on the rescheduled date of Tuesday, June 26 in Room 402 of the Alan B. Sadler Commissioners Building at 501 North Thompson Street in Conroe, 77301, for the purpose of swearing-in the new CEC members, adopting bylaws, electing a Secretary, constituting the Standing and Ad Hoc Committees (Community Engagement & Financial Review), and conducting other business pertinent to organizing the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee will consist of ninety (90) Precinct Chairmen and the County Chairman, all of who assume office on June 11, 2018. There are currently six (6) Precinct Chair vacancies- 26, 82, 87, 91, 94 and 95. A Munch & Mingle Social will begin at 5:30 pm prior to the CEC Meeting in the County Republican Headquarters in Conroe at 310 Metcalf Street in Conroe 77301-2856. Light refreshments provided by Judge Claudia Laird will be served. The public is invited and encouraged to attend both functions.
According to the current Party bylaws, the County Chairman will appoint the 2018-2020 officers of the Executive Committee which are the Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, General Counsel and Sergeant-at-Arms and appoint the six Standing Committees (Vacancy, Rules, Candidates, Finance, Leadership & Organization and Headquarters & Volunteers) Chairmen and forty-percent (40% or 2/5ths) of the Committee membership which includes the Chairman. The CEC will then appoint sixty-percent (60% or 3/5ths) of the Standing Committee membership and three (3) members of the Advisory Board which the bylaws authorize to conduct necessary business on behalf of the CEC between any regular meetings. Five of the Standing Committees have a total of twenty (20) members and one, the Vacancy Committee, has twelve (12) members. Any Republican interested in serving on a Standing or Ad Hoc Committee should notify the County Headquarters via email of their Committee(s) of interest along with their phone number, email address and Voting Precinct number.

Voter Integrity

Voter integrity for years has been a special project of a conservative organization, the American Civil Rights Union (ACRU), not to be confused with the ultra-liberal American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).The project is designed to stop the stealing of elections at all levels of government. The ACRU was founded by a number of Ronald Reagan's most trusted advisors and respected experts on this subject. They have found that, for a quarter of a century, liberal, progressives, and other special interests group have attempted to corrupt our elections. The ACRU has uncovered all manner of fraud, but the most important finding has been the discovery of "inaccurate voter rolls" or voter registration lists.
The ACRU's project has found that in "more than 200 counties across America the number of registered voters far exceeds 100 percent the number of residents eligible to vote. That is because these voter lists include the names of dead people, felons, people who have moved away, noncitizens, and even fictitious people. A 2012 ACRU study revealed that 24 million active voter registrations in the U. S. were "no longer valid or were significantly inaccurate. That is one out of  every eight- and that was five years ago." The ACRU has gone to court on numerous occasions to force counties to clean up their voter rolls. Currently, they are engaged in litigation against the "voter fraud haven", Broward County, Florida. At a trial held last summer at the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, facts were presented regarding a population of just under two million of whom more than 250,000 were noncitizens; and the county officials had removed only nineteen (19) people from its voter rolls during the last five years for lacking American citizenship. A recent research project conducted by the ACRU revealed: (1) "Hundreds of voters in elections in three Pennsylvania counties were more than 100 years old; (2) One man from a Pennsylvania county, whose birth date was listed as 1853, voted at age 155 in 2008 and age 159 in 2012; and (3) data rolls in three Pennsylvania counties revealed a huge number of registered voters with birthdates of 1800, which would make them more than 200 years old."
According to the ACRU, "dirty" voter registration rolls are the "oxygen" that enables voter fraud to be committed. Activists in the liberal, progressive and other special interest groups search the voter rolls for the names of the deceased, those who no longer reside in the area, convicted felons and etc. The activists then apply for mail ballots under those names, or just go to the polls and vote using those names.
In Montgomery County, a County Elections Administrator has been responsible for the voter registration rolls since 1982. The Montgomery County Republican Party played a major role in convincing the Commissioners Court to appoint a County Elections Administrator following the 1980 presidential election. Montgomery County citizens can be proud of the work the four Administrators have done during the last 36 years. We can be confident that our voter registration rolls are clean and reliable.

IS IT TIME TO REBRAND DEMOCRATS AS SOCIALISTS?
Washington Post columnist Ed Rogers wrote on May 7: "Speaking at an event in New York last week, Hillary Clinton said something interesting about Democrats today and their lurch to the left. Clinton said being a capitalist 'probably' hurt her when campaigning against democratic socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in  2016. Think about that.....It is stunning to realize how in today's Democratic Party, being a capitalist is something one must either apologize for or at least give a qualified acceptance. Talk about nostalgia for the 1950s. It seems socialism is making a comeback." Rogers added that "they want free college, free cash, free health care, new mandates for this and that, and so on." Some Democrat Senators like Booker of New Jersey and Gillibrand of New York support the idea of "job guarantee" and some have even promoted a "guaranteed" monthly income for every American earning less than $50,000 a year. Some surveys have shown more millennials favor socialism than capitalism. Few Democrats will have the courage to teach these millennials and others the history of "socialism's debilitating, murderous past and the historic human advancement that has been produced by free market capitalism."
