Signs of Spring and a mild Winter!

Before Thanksgiving, we sowed seeds in all four
raised garden beds.  Voila, spinach, thus marking
the start of another season of growing for the
Chester County Food Bank.
Want to volunteer in Goshen's gardens this year?
See Tr. Mimi's message below!

Message from the Head of School

Dear Goshen families,

I have never been much of a gardener, so when my friends at the Chester County Food Bank told me to plant spinach seeds in our raised beds last winter and to look for full plants by March, I was astonished! Who knew things could grown in winter months?

I have learned much about raising vegetables, and my little friends here at school have, too. They love to water the plants, dig up potatoes, hunt for pesky worms and sample sweet tomatoes right off the vine. It is a wonderful way to learn a new skill while helping our neighbors in need.

Would you like to volunteer to help out in Goshen's Gardens? We would love to have you, whether you're a skilled gardener or a novice like me. We know you're busy, so we can work with your schedule! Please email me to learn more at [email protected]. Thank you!

Have a great week!

In Friendship,
Tr. Mimi
