The ALS Lou Gehrig's Disease 10K and 5K Run/Walk is one of the most enjoyable courses in all of South Florida. Running through Coconut Grove and Coral Gables under the giant Banyon Trees for a great cause. The proceeds are donated to the ALS Recovery Fund.

Where to Summer Camp
 Art Box Miami Summer Camp
A typical itinerary consists of a linguistic and spatial display of information followed by a kinesthetic approach to executing unique works of art. The camps at Art Box are nothing short of diverse, exciting, and above all, educational. This Summer Get Messy! Get Creative! Get Inspired! Learn about different artists, movements, and techniques and explore mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media! Art box will work both in the studio and "en plein air". 

Rose Music Performing Arts Camp
This Summer Carrollton lends its grounds to the Rose Music Performing Arts Camp for ages 7-18.  Rose Music Camp is a combination of Choral, Instrumental, Drama, Dance, and Musical Theater principals. Each student will receive exceptional training by some of the best professionals in the state of Florida. These instructors will be able to hone on each child's individual skill. The intensity of specific principal classes is to ensure creative expression and artistic development within each student. 

Coconut Grove Sailing Club (CGSC)
The CGSC Sailing Camp is geared toward all ages and skill levels. Beginner to intermediate level sailors ages 6-17 can participate in the Summer Camp sailing on Optimists, SailCubes, Laser Bahias and RS Quba. A simple swim test is giving on the first day of each camp session and children are divided into groups by age and size, some groups require previous sailing experience. Payment can be made per a two week session or single week session. Members receive a $100 discount off each session.

Miami Conservatory of Music (MCM)
Join MCM this Summer for a Music Theatre and Music Discovery Camp. The team at MCM offers a fun one-week camp for beginning musicians ages 4-12 without experience in acting, playing keyboard, drumming, music games, instrument demonstrations, your child will explore a variety of musical expressions with the the guidance of professional musicians. Space is limited as groups are small. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Summer Camp at Peacock Park
Play, learn, and stay active at a Summer Camp offered to children ages 6 thru 13 at Peacock Park; one of the City of Miami Parks. Camp hours are from 9AM to 5PM, drop off as early as 8AM. Parents are encouraged to register early; enrollment is limited at each park. No camp on Thursday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. Shake-a-Leg Adventure island Camp
Campers activities will range based on age. Ages 7 to 9 will experience fun and exciting educational opportunities (for youth of all abilities), spending their days on the islands kakaing, sailing, fishing, swimming, and learning about the marine and island environments through hands-on art and science activities. Ages 9 and older will experience hands-on, intensive water sports activities, such as sailing, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and other paddle sports.
