Roslyn Public Schools
SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
Week Ending September 18, 2020

Dear Roslyn Families,

In addition to the Districtwide Remote Learning Day that we have scheduled for next Wednesday, September 23, 2020, we are planning a second one to take place on Wednesday, October 28th, 2020. The district has determined that it is best to be proactive and prepared for any scenarios that might disrupt in-person learning this fall and winter. These remote learning "drill days" will provide us with an opportunity to tweak any technical and/or learning difficulties that we encounter.

Please be advised that additional dates for districtwide remote learning may be added to the school calendar throughout the year. Should we decide this is necessary, we will advise you of the dates as soon as possible. Additionally, our building principals will be reaching out to you very shortly to make sure you have the information you need, should assistance from our technical support team be required.

Thank you to everyone for doing their part these first few weeks of school. Your cooperation and support of our students, faculty, and staff have allowed us to safely provide the education that all our students deserve. Let's keep it going!

Sincerely,

Allison Brown
Superintendent of Schools
