Come hear five innovative product companies from the Bowie area pitch their companies at the Dolphin Tank event to a panel of investors and serial entrepreneurs who give friendly feedback on business models, marketing and business challenges. Weigh in from the audience to offer advice.

Meet Bowie BIC's Bowie State University Student Interns
Akili Smith is a sophmore majoring in business administration with a concentration in marketing. He is a member of the Honors Program and previously interned with Toyota Financial Services. Upon graduation, Akili plans to earn his MBA while working in advertising.
Kevin Stovall is a graduating senior majoring in communications with a broadcast journalism concentration. Previously, he worked for a Maryland based
electric company specializing in sales and marketing. Upon graduation, Kevin plans to get his MBA in data analytics while pursuing his entrepreneurial dreams.

Receives Governor's Citation for Excellence
Bowie BIC accelerator graduate Sonya Hopson, CEO of Sages Services Group (center), received a Governor's Citation from Maryland Governor Larry Hogan on March 22, 2017 during a celebration of National Women's History Month at the MGM National Harbor. Hopson was honored by the Governor's Office of Small, Minority and Women Business Affairs for "excellence and success in her business, the community and the state."
