We are participating in a Sun Protection Education Program this year. Throughout the year our students, parents and teachers will be getting information about protecting their skin from sun damage and learn about skin conditions caused by sun exposure. Our participation in this program will help Corpus Christi be eligible for a grant sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology. The money awarded through the grant will be allocated to purchasing and installing a walkway between the main building and the preschool building.
A Sunscreen Station will be set-up during field day. Mrs. Susie Veasey, Executive Director with Beautycounter, has donated the sunscreen. The school is not allowed to apply sunscreen on students without a signed permission slip from you. If you wish for your child to be able to have sunscreen applied, as need, please sign and return the permission slip that can be found HERE.
