A Note from Mrs. Ryan
Dear Parents,

As this very long and unusual school year comes to a close, I want to thank you for entrusting your children to us and for your patience with all of the changes we have undergone this school year.  I have every expectation that we will settle into normalcy next school year.  Here is the most up-to-date information I have on the various construction projects:
  • The rebuild of the Kindergarten and Second Grade classrooms will be complete in late July and ready for teachers to move back in early August.
  • The preschool should be ready for occupancy by October 1st, possibly earlier.
  • The covered eating area and solar power panels will be completed over the summer as will the new HVAC system.
  • The repair and renovation of the blacktop portion of our playground will take place in the fall once all of the temporary buildings have been removed.
Parents of children who attended the St. Rose Preschool will want to attend our June 4 th Writing on the Walls event from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.  It is a drop-in activity for all who would like to leave messages of good-will on the inner wooden studs of the building that will soon be covered with drywall.

Our June 7 th Move-Up Day ceremony will be unique this year since Bishop Vasa will be on hand to present our school community with an award for our fortitude and community spirit in the aftermath of the October fires.  I hope you can attend.

I wish you a restful and relaxing summer.

Sincerely,
Kathy Ryan
School Principal

Have you procrastinated getting Volunteer Compliant?
Now is the time to get it done!
Please consider getting compliant with Diocese Volunteer requirements as soon as possible. At St. Rose we do our best to provide a safe campus for all. The Santa Rosa Diocese requires that all who wish to volunteer for any school event must comply with completing a background check, registering on the Diocese website, and completing the required on-line courses. It can take several weeks for this process to be complete. Don't wait until the week of an event to get started.
