CrimeStoppers by the numbers in month of April
Altogether, 27 felony cases were cleared from Memphis Police records during April as the result of nearly two dozen successful citizen tips to CrimeStoppers.
Among the cases, tipsters identified two men wanted for attempted murder and provided the location of a fugitive in a homicide case.
Of 21 people arrested, five were women and 15 were on the local Most Wanted list of fugitives.
A total of $7,400 in cash payments were awarded to 19 people who contacted CrimeStoppers with tips. The tips were forwarded to law enforcement for action.
