As part of the process, participants had four weeks to complete a portfolio, guided by our detailed workbook and one-to-one support.  They presented their evidence for Accreditation to AoF, witnessed by each other.  All participants reported how much they had enjoyed and benefited professionally and personally from the rigorous process, and how much they valued the opportunity for reflection and feedback.

We very much value that our competency model FACETS� continues to be 'road-tested' by facilitators interested in their own development and accreditation. The model reflects the fact that facilitation is not merely a one dimensional activity, but has multiple and interrelated layers.  

Those seeking accreditation are invited to add competencies that are meaningful for their work and assess themselves against these as well as our core competencies. In addition, we value how the FACETS� framework enables participants to choose how to self-assess and we enjoy seeing a variety of Accreditation Statements and Portfolios produced according to each facilitator's style.
