Volunteer Spotlight:

Lyndsey Richardson
What is your occupation?
Managing Partner at His and Hers Home Inspections Service

What brought you to Northwest ISD as a volunteer?
When my oldest started Kindergarten, I knew I wanted to be involved.  I would take things home for the teachers to cut, glue or put together as I had an infant.  My mom was a working mom and PTA president for many years so I knew I would be involved even before I became a mom.

How long have you been volunteering with NISD?
Six years

What is your favorite thing about volunteering with NISD?
I love the partnerships that have grown into friendships and that the kids are so excited to see familiar faces at events, in the hallway and helping them learn.

What was your favorite activity/hobby as a child?
I grew up playing soccer and basketball.
