Low-cost Pet Vaccine Clinic
Wednesday, Sept. 23, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The city of Aurora and the Dumb Friends League are offering a monthly low-cost pet vaccine and exam clinic on the fourth Wednesday of each month, September through December 2020. Limited exams with rabies and distemper vaccinations are available for $20 (free vaccinations for pets of active duty or retired military). Microchips will be available for $25. Because of COVID-19 precautions, this will be a drive-thru event. Only 100 pets will be accepted at each clinic. Appointments are required.

Havana Street Corridor Study Virtual Public Meeting
Sept. 30, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The city is studying the Havana Street corridor with an eye toward improved safety and mobility for all users along busy corridors. The study will create a corridor vision, goals, brand enhancements, land use framework and recommended transportation improvements that recognizes the diverse needs of Aurora's residents, business owners, visitors and traveling public. This meeting will provide information on the study and ask for input from participants.

Aurora Public Library has been offering virtual programming since mid-March. One of the most popular programs is the daily storytime.
