Congratulations to April 2018
Employment Training Graduates
Thank you to everyone who attended our April Guest Chef Dinner and Graduation ceremony with  The Sutter ClubIt was a night to remember, as nine women donned their cap and gowns!

Twice a year, we have the very special honor of celebrating the completion of our Employment Training Program, moving women from abuse, dependence and poverty to independence and self-sufficiency.

In order to graduate from the Employment Training at Saint John's, participants must successfully complete at least 360 hours of vocational training, have passed all 12 vocational training modules and five phases of job readiness, and be working for a minimum of 90 days in unsubsidized employment.

Keynote Speaker, and Former WNBA Guard, Ruthie Bolton,  honored our graduates by serenading them with the song, "What a Difference You Have Made in My Life".

Many thanks to  Chef Jack Kalustian and The Sutter Club,   Heringer Family Winery & Estates , Darbytown , Table Sponsors  Sierra Capital Mortgage & Real Estate , Ameriprise Financial , and Henri Santos-Coy & Bill Bennett, our emcee for the evening, Rob Stewart,  and of course our Guest Chef Dinner Series Sponsor for 2018, Wells Fargo

Erika's SUCCESS STORY

The cycle of abuse started early for Erika, and she is making sure that it ends at Saint John's...

A  woman at church told Erika about Saint John's Program for Real Change and she prayed that it would be the answer to reclaiming her life.
Nine months into the program, Erika has already accomplished so much...

Join us at Plates Cafe for an outdoor Mexican Fiesta featuring our very own Plates Cafe & Catering team as our Guest Chefs for the evening! As we gear up for Cinco de Mayo next month, this is one special meal-with-a meaning you won't want to miss!

Don't forget that the women serving are part of the Employment Training Program.
