The spring quilt sale at the Aurora Center for Active Adults (ACAA) is just around the corner! Talented members of the ACAA's Quilting Bee volunteer group will showcase their beautiful homemade quilts Thursday and Friday, May 3 and 4, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, May 5, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds from the quilt sale will benefit special projects at the ACAA. Teens learn how to create a personalized weightlifting program and performance management system as well as proper techniques. Participants ages 12 to 16 years meet with their trainer once a week to evaluate progress, set goals and answer questions. The next session (registration #252145) runs May 7 - 21 and meets every Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Moorhead Recreation Center.
