With summer just around the corner, it is important that I share with you how proud I am of our students, faculty and staff. This year was filled with exciting academic, athletic and student club achievements. Together, with support from families and the community, we have grown students through rigorous academics, civic engagement, service learning, career and college exploration and countless other ways.
In the fast-paced digital world we live in, it is important that our students are technologically literate as well as culturally competent. Growth in our curriculum to develop a greater understanding of cultural differences, increased investments in technology infrastructure and authentic tasks, designed by our talented teachers, that weave technology, culture and critical thinking together, have brought the world into our classrooms. Central students are prepared for college and career success!
Parents and family members, your support for Central students was definitely evident. It set a high standard for us as we review, adjust and incorporate the greatest opportunities possible for our students. Likewise, organizations, businesses and individuals in our community continued to invest in our students. They believed and supported their ideas and through these valuable partnerships, students experienced and achieved many great things.
Lastly, let me add my sincere congratulations to our graduating Falcons, the Class of 2018. Your hard work has led to achieving all the expectations required to receive your high school diploma. I, as well as the many teachers and other staff members here at Central, are very proud of you.    From this point on, education becomes an option, but we believe, with the knowledge, skills and confidence you take away, you have what it takes to follow your dreams and life aspirations. It will not be easy, just like these past four years, there will be times where obstacles appear to be blocking your path. However, never forget you are a Falcon, and with sheer determination and the will power to continuously do your best, you will fly over those obstacles and achieve great things. Now, spread your wings and fly!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR ......

We Say Goodbye to two Retiring Teachers....
...with tremendous thanks for their years of service, we wish a fond farewell and best wishes to Ms. Judy Steinke and Mr. Bill Watson for their many years of dedicated service to Central High School.

Judy Steinke has been a part of the Central High School family for 35 years as an English teacher. During her time at Central, she has served as the leadership team representative for the English department, assisted with forensics, and was an adviser for the National Honor Society.  Judy has been  a strong role model to all of her colleagues in and out of the classroom.

Bill Watson has been a part of the Central High School family for 29 years as a Social Studies Teacher. Bill spent a lot of time helping students outside of the classroom in extra-curricular activities such as an assistant football coach, wrestling coach, and as supervisor in the weight room before and after school. Bill's sense of humor and love for education will be greatly missed.

We also say goodbye to Carin Belan in the Business Education Department, Jason Dennis in the Math Department, Jennifer Neumann in the English Department and Carrie Wright in the Science Department with thanks for their dedication to Central. We wish them the very best in their future professional pursuits.
