Spring has sprung
and our campus
is in  full bloom!

A reminder to our High School and Post High School families: Prom is set for Friday, May 11th from 7 to 9 p.m. at Ivymount. Our students created a special prom website with details for the event. Click here to register by May 1st.

Please join us on Tuesday, April 17th  from 7 to 9 p.m. for
"The Importance of Self Advocacy to Success"  by Julia Bascom, Executive Director,  Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN). (Scroll down for more details.)

A special thanks to all who attended Saturday's third and final Music for Autism concert of the year. The fabulous
Kari Paludan, soprano, and Wes McCune, piano, performed "George, Ira and Friends!" We are thrilled to host these special events - they are a wonderful opportunity to expose our families and friends to music and are always a joyful time!

This weekend Ivymount student art was on display (see below) in an exhibit celebrating Autism Awareness month.  The showcase was put together by the SPARKS Group, to recognize and celebrate the creative and artistic talents of students from Maryland and DC. Congratulations to Makiya B., Brandon D., Aidan H, Matthew J, Connor P. and Ademola A. for having your work included in such a wonderful exhibit!

Don't miss our PTA update below. The next meeting is scheduled for this  Friday, April 20th at 1 p.m.

Have a great week!
