The Competitive Grant Cycle is now open for grant proposals from 501c3 organizations and government entities serving the Danville, Pittsylvania County and Caswell County. All applications must be submitted online by Monday, July 30, 2018.

This is CFDRR's only call for grant applications for the 2019 cycle. Remember, awards are given in January 2019 therefore proposals should be for projects taking place between January 2019-December 2019.
Graduate of Merit 2018
The Community Foundation is proud to have sponsored four Graduate of Merit students on May 17, 2018 at the E. Stuart Grant Convocation & Athletic Center. The Legacy Society is a way for The Community Foundation to honor those who have made a lasting commitment to the Dan River Region since we were formed in 1996. Individuals who designate a gift to The Community Foundation through a will, trust, or other planned gift are invited to join our Legacy Society.
Membership is voluntary and free. Gifts of all sizes are important and welcome. Disclosure of gift amount or type is not required. Legacy members will be celebrated at an annual Legacy Society reception. Members will also be recognized in publications and receive invitations to other Foundation events. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Legacy Society, please fill out this form!

Agency Emergency Fund
Remember, The Community Foundation established the Agency Emergency Fund
in 2016 to offer assistance on a one-time basis to Danville/Pittsylvania County/ Caswell County/ Halifax County nonprofit agencies which have a short term urgent funding need created by an unforeseen event. Click here for more information!
