Greetings!

Easter greetings from Bethlehem Bible College!

This celebratory season of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus has been complimented by the beautiful spring time here in Palestine. This time of year holds many events and gatherings to remember and celebrate the events leading up to Easter. You don't want to miss our documentation of these events, so be sure to catch a glimpse of the festivities from our Via Dolorosa video, Handel's Messiah benefit concert in this month's Holy Land Tales and a first-hand perspective of the Palm Sunday processional down the Mount of Olives.

Additionally, the Palestine Marathon took place again this year drawing participants from around Palestine as well as around the world! Our video will give you a glance of the masses of people that came out for the Free Movement run through Bethlehem. You'll also find that the spotlight "Meet One of Us", Saleem Anfous, uniquely participated in the marathon with his family.

We wish you a blessed holiday season yet again, and that the victory of Jesus over death may impact us all in such a way that it continues to affect the way we live life daily.

Blessings!

this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.

It’s always a joy to my heart to see Palestinian Christian young couples living their life here in this region without complaining, and without the intention to leave, because they believe that it’s God’s calling for their lives.

What an honor to write about friends that share this journey with me, a similar vision, memories, real friendship, and who I knew from the very beginning.

It’s no surprise that the Easter season in Jerusalem is full of concerts and events to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. Simultaneously, Passover also falls during this time of year, so festivities fill the streets, venues and holy sites. One event that stands out in the midst of both of these faith traditions is one that took place at the West Jerusalem YMCA on April 6th. Musalaha, a non-profit organization in Jerusalem that promotes and facilitates reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians based on the life and teaching of Jesus, organized an event which brought together those that may not usually gather together for a night of entertainment devoted to raising funds for Syrian refugees.
