Fall Ministers Retreat 2020 was a huge success! Our group of 90+ attendees had a wonderful time worshiping, fellowshipping, eating, laughing, crying, and praying together. Everything, from sessions to free time, was so refreshing.
With Covid-19, we took special precautions. Masks, hand sanitizer, and gloves were all provided. Each attendee was given the option to choose between three different colored wristbands signifying each attendee's comfort level with social distancing. We understood this pandemic would prove to be prohibitive for some of our ministers to attend the retreat. Due to this barrier for some ministers, we took the time to stream all retreat sessions. Those sessions can still be found in our 'Open Bible East Pastor's Place' Facebook group.
One of our retreat sessions was our business meeting. This meeting is something we are required to have every two years, according to our bylaws. We have edited this meeting down and attached it to this email. We ask every Open Bible East minister to set aside time and watch the full session using the corresponding notes below.
We know your time is valuable and chalked full of meetings already. However, this meeting is exciting because it deals with the future of our region and lays out the vision OBE has planned to come alongside our ministers, pastors, and churches to help fulfill their calling.
