Your gifts make a difference!

This has been a pivotal year for the Echoes project.  It's been pivotal in the lives of youth producers who are expanding their horizons and finding their voices as filmmakers.  It's been a pivotal year for the crew as a whole - as we've incorporated restorative justice "circle" practice, and solidified our foundation like never before.  And it's been pivotal for our work of seeking solutions to some of the most broken parts of the criminal justice system.

As we push forward into new directions of our work, we hope you remember the Echoes Project in your end-of-year giving

A few highlights...

ECHOES JOURNALISM COLLECTIVE
Our biggest news: we're launching our new journalism work, where we're creating youth-reported, first-person news stories about how criminal justice system interacts with young people.  (Stay tuned for our launch in the coming months!)

HAND'S-ON FILM TRAINING
In addition, we have expanded our core work of providing workshops to dozens of young people in schools, non-profits, and foster care agencies across NYC

PUBLIC SCREENINGS
We continued to screen our films for hundreds of youth, stakeholders, and general audiences around the country

NEW FILMS
We created 3 powerful new films in our Resiliency Film series, including a new poetry film by summer camper Anthony Funes

NEW CREW
And we've  expanded our core crew! We're now providing intensive multi-year film and journalism training to six new youth producers

Your help is crucial as we build up the next generation of filmmakers and journalists, and take bold new steps to create a more just society.
