Welcome to Your City @ Work, where you will find City of Dunedin highlights from the City Manager's office each month.

MESSAGE FROM THE CITY MANAGER

Welcome to the May edition of Your City @ Work, a monthly online newsletter. Our goal is to keep you up to date on pending issues and actions before the City Commission so that you can participate in the decision making process. We hope you will find this form of communication educational and informative.

We are well into the second half of the fiscal year and many of the projects and programs the City Commission approved last year are reaching fruition. I am sure you will find the Citizen Survey results informative. The link is provided in this newsletter. It will be an extremely useful tool for the City Commission to use when allocating resources for the FY 2020 budget. We have also completed an Employee Survey and the Affordable Housing Needs Assessment is nearing completion. These studies allow us to develop the budget based upon hard data which is crucial to sound strategic planning.

City Staff has been hard at work on our large scale bricks and mortar projects. Dunedin Stadium, the Blue Jays Player Development Complex, City Hall, the Water Treatment Plant rehab and the new Emergency Operation Center are either in design or under construction. We look forward to delivering more efficient and accessible public amenities to our residents, business owners and visitors. There is lots more to report so please be sure to click on the “Full CM Report” tab above. Thank you for reading!
