A day of free boat rides and kayaking, food and education! In an effort to save the bay, Maryland Coastal Bays Program and Ocean Pines Association are hosting Ocean Pines Bay Day, a free public event, from 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at White Horse Park.
JOB FAIR THIS WEEK: Matt Ortt Companies, the newly hired management company that oversees food & beverage operations at the yacht and beach clubs, is hosting a job fair on Saturday, April 21 at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club, located at 1 Mumford’s Landing Road.

Farmers Bank Of Willards Donates to Worcester County Humane Society
The Farmers Bank of Willards presented Worcester County Humane Society with a check for $2,500 to help underwrite rent costs for the no kill shelter’s new thrift store opening soon on Sunset Avenue in West Ocean City.

April 28: Community Sale
7:30 a.m.-noon. Driveways of residents of The Parke at Ocean Pines, a community of 503 homes. Residents will be selling their treasures including clothes, lamps, artwork, household items, electronics, furniture and more. Kiwanis Opens Duck “Race” Season: Time for the ducks! Kiwanis begins their “Duck Race” season by selling $5 entries for the August 24th race to benefit Kiwanis Children’s programs like scholarships and student leadership clubs in local schools. Buy tickets NOW and until the race. Win up to $3000 if all 1200 ducks are sold by splitting the pot in half. The race will again be held at Frontier Town Lazy River on Rt. 611. Winner does not have to be present! CALL: 410-973-1233 for tickets or purchase at many Ocean Pines events from now until the race, like “Summer Concerts in the Park”, Ocean Pines 50th Anniversary events, 4th of July and others. Try your luck, buy a duck!
