FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear PPRA Members,

We are off to a fantastic fall program season after kicking it off with a sold out Media Mingle, engaging students at Networking 101 and getting an exclusive tour of KYW Newsradio!

Valuable programs continue to be added to our program calendar, so be sure to join us for an upcoming educational program to sharpen your media relations skills. Please see below for a list of upcoming events.

This past Wednesday, Oct. 17, we honored Meryl Levitz, President and CEO of Visit Philadelphia with the PPRA Gold Medal Award. A dynamic lineup of speakers effusively congratulated and praised Meryl for all she has accomplished in our field, and rightfully so. She and her public relations team have transformed the way Philadelphia is marketed. Meryl and her team played an integral role in putting the city on the map as the first U.S World Heritage City.

Our membership is growing stronger with 350 members, and we are always welcoming of new members! I look forward to meeting our new members at our upcoming programs.

Warm Regards,

Nina Scimenes
2018-2019 President
Philadelphia Public Relations Association
