Congratulation to Angelina Norris for a perfect score at this meet, and huge congratulations to freshman Curtis Liu for a perfect score on all four tournaments. PEF STEM SYMPOSIUM

The PVIT students had an outstanding showing of their technology and engineering projects at the PEF STEM Symposium this week. WOODWARD, BERSTEIN & ELSEN

Triton Yearbook leaders sat down with Editor-in-Resdience Bill Elsen in San Francisco at the JEA/NSPA National Spring Journalism Conference for a chance to relive history. At The Post, he spent 7 1/2 years as a director of recruiting and hiring for the newsroom. He also worked as a night and assignment editor on the national desk, a sports and metro copy editor, executive sports editor, metro staff writer, assistant foreign editor, night city editor and night news editor. Unique opportunities like this make traveling to out-of-town conventions even more worthwhile. Triton leaders also attended workshops on photojournalism, writing copy and design and layout. Members of The Point newspaper also attended the conference. It was an enriching experience for students, advisers and chaperones.

At the State Capitol, they met representatives in the Legislature, discussed some of the most challenging issues of our time, and honed their leadership skills through various workshops.
