Celebrate your School Board members!
Missouri School Board Recognition Week is Feb. 9 to 15
Communities across the state are honoring the service of boards of education Feb. 9 to 15 for School Board Recognition Week.

Ray-Pec School Board members volunteer their time and energy to help shape the future of the district. We appreciate all their hard work and dedication!

Thanks to our Raymore-Peculiar School Board members:
School Board members are elected by local constituents and do not receive compensation for their efforts.  All Missouri citizens are asked to recognize the contributions of these men and women and focus attention on the vital role they play in the education of our children.  School Board Recognition Week is sponsored by the Missouri School Boards' Association.

You are invited to participate in the week-long food drive to benefit the Caring About Nutrition (CAN) program.

The food drive includes two special donation opportunities:
  • Drop off donations before the "Guys and Dolls" performance tonight at the high school.
  • You may also donate items during an in-store food drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Raymore Price Chopper store.

Caring About Nutrition serves K-5 students with bags of food on Fridays for weekend meals they might otherwise miss. CAN sends home food for two breakfasts, two lunches and two snacks.  CAN also has small food pantries at the middle schools and high school for students to access when needed. You may donate throughout the year at any Ray-Pec elementary or middle school. You can also drop donations at the Raymore Chamber of Commerce.
